PC wire or Pre-stressed Concrete wire is a wire with concrete structure built with pre-stress (Artificial compression stress to compensate tensile stress to be exerted from exterior force). It is used in major construction projects as a means of increasing the strength of cast concrete components, ranging from railway track sleepers, bridges, crane beams, cement poles, etc.
